Cleanaway Waste Management is seeking an experienced Team Leader/Operator for our Resource Recovery site in Clayton, VIC. The role combines heavy machinery operation with hands-on leadership to mentor colleagues and drive safe, efficient waste handling.

You will operate excavator, loader, skid steer and forklift; load and assist drivers, maintain safety and quality, and deliver excellent customer service. Permanent full-time position with attractive benefits and opportunities for career growth.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a highly skilled Team leader with Operator experience to join our team at our Resource Recovery in Clayton.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced heavy machinery operator with proven leadership skills who enjoys mentoring others and driving operational success in a vital environmental services role.

• Operating earthmoving equipment (Front End loader, material handler, skid steer and forklift licence)
• Assist drivers and the public with correct load placement
• Excavate and load dry waste (metal, wood, general rubbish and other material) to compact and cover waste
• Safely operate vehicles and equipment in line with procedures
• Assist with general housekeeping duties
• Maintain a professional image and always deliver high quality customer service
