Job summary

REMONDIS Australia Pty Ltd in Melbourne's southern suburbs is seeking a dedicated team member to operate and monitor a Liquid Treatment Plant. The role offers permanent, full-time employment with morning or afternoon shifts (4am or 12pm starts), Monday to Friday, with possible overtime and weekend work.

You will conduct sampling, basic testing, and ensure waste meets disposal or recovery specifications while maintaining accurate records and supporting plant operations with essential supplies.

Qualifications

• A current HR driver's license is essential.
• Experience with front end loader and excavator is preferred.
• Experience in waste industry or wastewater treatment is desirable but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the performance of the Liquid Treatment Plant.
• Carry out sampling and basic testing of liquid waste.
• Operate equipment as instructed, ensuring waste meets specifications for disposal or recovery.
• Work closely with Plant Team Leaders to manage day-to-day waste processing activities.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of operational processes.
• Ensure required supplies and tools are available to support plant operations.
