Job summary

Boral is seeking an Asphalt Crew Member to join our Seven Hills team. This hands-on role supports delivery of quality road surfacing projects. You will operate asphalt mobile plant equipment, assist with labour tasks, and help maintain safety and efficiency on-site.

We value teamwork, safety, and a commitment to high-quality work. Availability to work Mon–Sun and nights as required is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in asphalt road surfacing preferred.
• Strong commitment to safety and environmental standards.
• General Construction Induction Card (White Card) required.
• HR license or Mobile Equipment National Competency highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to crew tasks to deliver a quality product safely.
• Safely operate asphalt mobile plant equipment.
• Maintain company trucks and plant equipment.
• Participate in site safety and business improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Boral OH&S policies and environmental standards.
• Assist with maintenance tasks as required.

This hands‑on role is an important part of our operations, where you’ll contribute to the delivery of high‑quality road surfacing projects. Day to day, you’ll be operating mobile construction equipment, supporting the crew with a range of labouring tasks, and ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently.

This position offers the chance to build your skills in a supportive team environment while playing a key role in delivering projects that help connect communities.

Your day will involve:

• Contribute to all crew tasks as necessary to deliver a quality product in a safe environment
• Safely and efficiently operate asphalt mobile plant equipment
• Maintain company trucks and plant equipment
• Participate in site safety and business improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with Boral OH&S policies, meeting safety and environmental standards
• maintenance

What are we looking for?

• Experience in asphalt road surfacing (preferred)
• Strong commitment to safety and the environment with a superior customer focus
• General Construction Induction Card
• Current Heavy Vehicle driver's license (HR) or Mobile Equipment National Competency (highly regarded)
• Proven ability to work well within a team environment
• Available to work from Monday to Sunday and nights as required
