Job summary

Hiway Aus Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated safety-focused operator to join our Parkes-based team. You will work across a diverse portfolio of civil projects, with regular travel and site deployment opportunities throughout regional and metropolitan NSW.

The successful candidate will operate Streumaster Spreader Trucks and Wirtgen Stabilisers and maintain a strong focus on Zero Harm safety practices on site.

Qualifications

• Mobility to travel and work away from home routinely.

• Prior experience in road construction, emphasis on road rehabilitation/maintenance.
• Relevant plant tickets and basic mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

What's Required:

• Mobility:The capability and flexibility to travel and work away from home routinely.
• Safety Alignment:A strong, demonstrated commitment to achieving a 'Zero Harm' workplace.
• Industry Experience:Prior experience in road construction, with a strong emphasis on road rehabilitation and maintenance.
• Tickets & Technical Knowledge:Relevant plant tickets and basic mechanical aptitude.
• Technology & Reporting Skills:Proficiency with digital reporting apps is essential. Operators must be comfortable completing electronic records and site reports. Spreader Operators require sound IT skills and basic maths ability to calculate and record application rates.
