Job summary

Bundaberg Molasses, a division of Bundaberg Sugar Ltd, is seeking reliable Plant Operators to join our team in Oakey on a casual basis. You will help manufacture animal feed to customer specifications and operate the plant and equipment safely and efficiently.

Ideal candidates have a current forklift licence with hands-on experience, basic computer skills, a valid driver’s licence, and are physically fit for labour-intensive work.

Qualifications

• A current forklift licence with hands-on experience is required.
• Proficiency in operating plant machinery.
• A current driver’s licence.
• Basic computer skills.
• Be physically fit as the position will be labour-intensive.
• Experience in animal feed production is an advantage, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing animal feed to customer specifications.
• Operating plant and equipment efficiently.
• Receiving raw materials, including weighbridge operation, forklift work, and unloading bagged materials.
• Preparing and dispatching finished products.
• Completing pre-operational safety checks.
