Job summary

Unyte is seeking an experienced Compactor Operator to join our civil construction team. This regional role involves a roster with living away from home, unless locally based near the Cootamundra area. You will operate a compactor, perform basic maintenance, and support the crew with general labouring tasks.

Applicants should have 2+ years on a compactor, civil/rail site experience, and a White Card. A safety-first attitude and ability to work as part of a team are essential.

• Civil or rail site experience preferred.
• White Card holder and safety-aware.
• Rostered living-away-from-home availability.

Your everyday

• Operating a compactor
• Conduct basic machine maintenance and safety checks
• Supporting the team with general labouring duties
• Ensuring a strong commitment to safety, productivity and quality workmanship
• Working as park of a team

Who are you

• You have minimum 2+ years’ experience on a compactor
• Experience on civil or rail sites
• You have relevant plant operating tickets and a white card
• Available for rostered living away from home shifts
• Have a safety-first attitude
