Job summary

Boral Asphalt is seeking an Asphalt Crew Member for our West Burleigh team. You will operate asphalt mobile plant equipment, assist with labouring tasks, and support safety-driven, high-quality road surfacing projects across the local area.

Qualifications

• Experience in asphalt road surfacing is preferred.
• Strong commitment to safety and the environment with a superior customer focus.
• General Construction Induction Card.
• Current Heavy Vehicle driver's licence (HR) or Mobile Equipment National Competency is highly regarded.
• Proven ability to work well within a team environment.
• Available to work from Monday to Sunday and nights as required.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to all crew tasks as necessary to deliver a quality product in a safe environment.
• Safely and efficiently operate asphalt mobile plant equipment.
• Maintain company trucks and plant equipment.
• Participate in site safety and business improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Boral OH&S policies, meeting safety and environmental standards.
• Maintenance (as required).

We have a great opportunity for an Asphalt Crew Member to join our team in West Burleigh.

This hands-on role is an important part of our operations, where you’ll contribute to the delivery of high-quality road surfacing projects. Day to day, you’ll be operating mobile construction equipment, supporting the crew with a range of labouring tasks, and ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently. This position offers the chance to build your skills in a supportive team environment while playing a key role in delivering projects that help connect communities.
