Job summary

On Line Recruitment is seeking an experienced Plant Operations Manager to join a well-established food and beverage manufacturing operation in the Shoalhaven area. Reporting to the COO and General Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations across production, packaging and logistics, ensuring workflow and resources are running efficiently, with hands-on leadership of a production team.

This role requires a trade or technical background, strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach

Qualifications

• Trade or technical qualification is desirable.
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing
• Experience coordinating production and logistics
• Experience supervising a team
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication with stakeholders
• Ability to implement new systems and improve processes
• Excellent organisational skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinating production, packaging and logistics requirements across the operation
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure requirements are met
• Providing hands-on technical troubleshooting and support across the plant
• Identifying opportunities to improve production processes and workflows
• Coordinating and managing a team of production and operational staff
• Supporting a strong focus on safety, quality and efficient production
• Monitoring day-to-day plant operations and addressing issues promptly
