Job summary

TAFE NSW is seeking a dedicated Teacher of Plant Mechanics for a permanent full‑time position at the Wetherill Park campus. You will deliver hands-on training, guide student learning, and ensure high-quality, industry‑relevant VET education for diverse learners.

The role requires a Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology and at least three years of post‑qualification experience within the last five years.

Qualifications

• Hold a Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology, Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent trade qualification.
• Three years post-qualification industry experience relevant to qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on, practical training to Plant Mechanics students.
• Guide and enhance student learning across a wide range of learners.
• Provide high quality, industry-relevant VET training focusing on employability and skill development.
