Job summary

Mineral Resources Limited is seeking a practical Mechanical Engineer to support our mobile equipment fleet and asset-management operations in Western Australia. The role reports to the Manager Engineering and focuses on continuous improvement, safety compliance, and lifecycle optimization across our plant assets.

You will review engineering data, provide actionable recommendations, and collaborate with operations to turn insights into tangible outcomes on a Monday–Friday roster at Osborne Park

Qualifications

• A Mechanical Engineering degree is required.
• Minimum three years' experience in asset maintenance or mobile equipment in mining, construction, or heavy-industry settings.
• Experience with maintenance management systems, compliance, and project delivery is preferred.
• Knowledge of mobile mining and earthmoving equipment and relevant standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice on mobile equipment, workshops and asset-management systems.
• Lead and support engineering projects from planning through delivery.
• Deliver engineering assessments including design and equipment selection.
• Analyse equipment performance to identify savings and improvements.
• Review and improve maintenance strategies for safety and lifecycle value.
• Support planning, scheduling, reliability and workshop execution.
