Northern Grampians Shire Council is seeking a qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team in Stawell. You’ll service, maintain and repair Council’s diverse fleet, ensuring safe and reliable operation across vehicles and plant.
The role includes fault diagnosis, record keeping and scheduling preventative maintenance. The successful candidate will work independently and as part of a practical team, communicating with operators and supervisors, and providing technical input on new equipment

Northern Grampians Shire Council is seeking a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team in Stawell and play an important role in keeping Council’s fleet, plant and equipment safe, reliable and ready for work.
This is a hands-on role where no two days are necessarily the same. You’ll work across Council’s vehicles, plant and equipment, undertaking servicing, maintenance, fault diagnosis and repairs, while helping ensure our fleet continues to support the important services we provide to our community.
