Job summary

Northern Beaches Council is seeking a Plant Coordinator to lead the safe, efficient operation of its plant, fleet and workshops. This permanent, full-time role is based in Sydney's Northern Beaches and works 35 hours per week to keep assets reliable and available for service delivery.

You will drive asset lifecycle planning, servicing, maintenance, acquisitions and disposals while monitoring budgets and ongoing improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in plant, fleet or workshop asset lifecycle management.
• Strong safety-focused leadership and staff wellbeing.
• Ability to manage budgets and replacement planning.
• Customer service orientation and cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead a safety-focused workplace culture and support staff wellbeing.
• Oversee operation of major plant and workshops including servicing, maintenance, and replacement planning.
