Job summary

STM Trucks & Machinery Pty Ltd in Unanderra NSW is seeking a Workshop Plant Technician to prepare new and used plant equipment for delivery and support the workshop team with servicing and repairs. You will perform pre-delivery inspections on Kobelco, ASV, Merlo, Hydrema and New Holland machines, assist with routine servicing, diagnose faults and keep records in a safe, tidy workshop.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out pre-delivery inspections and builds on new plant equipment, including Kobelco, ASV, Merlo, Hydrema and New Holland machines.
• Assisting with routine servicing and repairs on plant and construction equipment.
• Undertaking general fault diagnosis and mechanical repairs as required.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and efficient workshop environment.
• Working collaboratively with the Service Manager and workshop team to meet customer and production timeframes.
• Maintaining accurate service and inspection records.
