Job summary

iStaff Australia is seeking a qualified Plant Electrician for a 6-month contract in Kurnell, NSW. The role covers electrical maintenance, instrumentation calibration, and servicing of plant equipment, with potential to transition to permanent employment.

The successful candidate will perform calibration, preventative maintenance, and safe electrical connect/disconnect tasks, in a weatherproof industrial environment. High Voltage experience is advantageous but not required.

Qualifications

Qualified/Certified Electrician with electrical trade background.
White Card holder.
Experience in plant/industrial maintenance environments.
Willingness to obtain Work at Heights and Confined Space tickets.
Instrumentation/calibration experience preferred.
High Voltage experience advantageous but not essential.
Commitment to safety and quality; Monday–Friday availability.

Responsibilities

Calibration of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
Preventative maintenance and servicing.
Electrical connect/disconnect activities.
Maintenance of pumps, flow meters, instrumentation, sensors, and related plant equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical/equipment issues.
Ensure work complies with site procedures and WHS requirements.
