CJ Tech Services Pty Ltd is a busy, family-owned mobile mechanical business servicing South West Victoria. We work on earthmoving and agricultural machinery, trucks, generators and other plant across brands.

You’ll join Corey and a small team, with opportunities to learn diagnostics and work across varied equipment. We offer above‑award pay, regular hours (Mon–Fri) with optional overtime and a vehicle/fuel card option.

Qualifications

• Relevant plant or agricultural mechanical qualification or current 3rd/4th year apprenticeship standing.
• Hands-on earthmoving, plant or agricultural machinery experience with hydraulic and electrical fault-finding ability.
• Interest in electronic diagnostics and ability to read electrical/hydraulic schematics.
• Ability to work independently within your capabilities and as part of a small team.
• Safe work habits, clear communication, respect for customers and their equipment, and a current driver's license.
• Heavy diesel mechanics with substantial plant or agricultural machinery experience welcome to apply.

• Attending a wide variety of customer sites for breakdowns and fault-finding, while adhering to all site safety and OHS requirements.
• Completing component repairs and assisting with rebuilds.
• Using—or learning to use—our multi-brand electronic diagnostic laptops.
• Accurately identifying required parts and organising parts, tasks and priorities to keep jobs running efficiently.
• Clearly communicating work completed, outstanding repairs and next steps to customers and the team.
• Taking ownership of jobs suited to your experience, with support available.

CJ Tech Services is a busy, family-owned mobile mechanical business servicing South West Victoria. Earthmoving equipment is our core business, but we also work on agricultural machinery, trucks, generators and other plant. We service equipment across brands and ages, providing routine maintenance, breakdown repairs, rebuilds, welding, fabrication, auto-electrical diagnostics and repairs, and air conditioning servicing. We use genuine OEM diagnostic software alongside our multi-brand diagnostic tools. You'll work alongside our owner and head mechanic, Corey, who brings more than 10 years of specialised Caterpillar experience. Put your existing skills to work, develop your electronic diagnostic knowledge and enjoy variety across machinery, jobs and customer sites.

Key responsibilities

Carrying out mobile servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs.

About you

A relevant plant or agricultural mechanical qualification, or current third- or fourth-year apprenticeship standing.

Hands-on earthmoving, plant or agricultural machinery experience, with practical hydraulic and electrical knowledge and fault-finding ability.

An interest in electronic diagnostics and the ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.

Ability to work independently within your capabilities and as part of a small team.

Safe work habits, clear communication, respect for customers and their equipment, and a current driver's licence.

Heavy diesel mechanics with substantial plant or agricultural machinery experience are also welcome to apply.

Above award pay rate discussed, based on your apprenticeship stage, qualifications, relevant experience and skills.

Regular hours: five days per week, usually 8:15 am–5:00 pm, with one RDO per month through our accrued RDO system.

Optional overtime available if you want additional hours.

Family-friendly flexibility: flexibility around family commitments by arrangement.

Vehicle benefits: the option of a work vehicle or fuel card. If you choose to use your own vehicle, maintenance can be carried out during paid work hours, with parts supplied at our wholesale cost.
