Job summary

Aurizon is seeking an experienced Planning Reliability Supply Chain Superintendent to provide leadership across planning, reliability and supply chain functions in Australia. The role aims to optimise asset availability, maintenance compliance and inventory performance within approved budgets.

Lead the development of maintenance strategies, schedules and work packages; drive reliability improvement initiatives and stakeholder engagement to ensure safe, efficient operations and cost-effective

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Asset Management, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Logistics or related discipline.
• Extensive experience in rail, heavy industry, maintenance, reliability or supply chain operations.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams and alignment to achieve senior leadership outcomes.
• Working knowledge of SAP, inventory systems, maintenance planning tools and Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrated knowledge of reliability engineering principles and maintenance planning practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of safe, compliant and executable maintenance plans, inventory strategies and fleet reliability improvements.
• Develop and maintain maintenance strategies, processes, plans, schedules and work packages to support fleet allocation and priorities.
• Lead fleet reliability improvement programs through analysis of reliability, availability, failure and maintenance data.
• Facilitate root cause investigations, defect elimination and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead inventory governance, stock optimisation and warehousing performance to improve service levels.
• Establish performance reporting and governance to optimise maintenance expenditure and asset lifecycle.
