Job summary

Rural City of Swan Hill is seeking a Planning Officer to join our Development Team and help deliver quality planning outcomes across the municipality. You will assess applications, provide advice to residents and developers, and contribute to sustainable growth.

The role is permanent full-time with a competitive salary range and 15% super. Four weeks annual leave, personal leave, and flexible work arrangements are offered to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Town Planning, Urban Studies or related field (or currently studying with relevant experience).
• Knowledge of planning legislation and statutory planning processes.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Well-developed communication and report writing skills.
• A current Victorian Driver Licence.

What we offer

• Salary ranging between $78,873 and $89,807 per annum dependent upon qualifications and experience plus 15% superannuation.
