Job summary

Santos Brisbane is seeking a Planning and Scheduling Lead to oversee maintenance planning and scheduling across our Midstream and Energy Solutions division. You will lead a team, drive proactive maintenance, and champion continuous improvement in maintenance management systems.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree or trade qualification in Mechanical or Electrical/Instrument Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years' oil and gas industry experience.
  • Extensive maintenance planning and modern management methodology experience.
  • Strong commitment to safety and incident-free operations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and facilitation skills.
  • CMMS knowledge and oil and gas processing equipment experience (desirable).

  • Develop and implement strategic maintenance plans aligned with business objectives
  • Oversee campaign and short-term maintenance planning at Santos facilities
  • Chair weekly planning/scheduling meetings and resolve conflicting priorities
  • Drive continuous improvement of maintenance management systems
  • Ensure compliance with SMS, EHS standards and Santos OE standards

What you’ll do:

Join the Brisbane Santos team as a Planning and Scheduling Lead and play a pivotal role in driving maintenance excellence across our Midstream and Energy Solutions division. Reporting to the Reliability and Maintenance Manager – Gas and Liquids.

You’ll oversee maintenance planning and scheduling across Santos facilities, leading a team and driving the transition from reactive to proactive maintenance. You’ll champion continuous improvement, modern maintenance practices and strong team performance in this business-critical leadership role,
