Job summary

Santos Ltd in Brisbane is seeking a Maintenance Campaign Lead to plan, coordinate and execute maintenance campaigns across our Midstream assets. You will work closely with Operations, Maintenance, Planning, Engineering and Contractor Partners to deliver safe, efficient and cost-effective campaign delivery in a dynamic environment.

The role requires a trade or tertiary qualification in Engineering, maintenance or related discipline, plus experience in LNG, Oil & Gas or heavy process industries,

Qualifications

• Trade and/or tertiary qualification in Engineering, Maintenance, Reliability, or related discipline.
• Experience in maintenance, shutdowns, or campaign management within LNG, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or heavy process industries.
• Proven ability to manage complex scopes, schedules, budgets, and contractor partnerships.
• Proficiency with CMMS platforms (SAP PM, Maximo, Oracle eAM).
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety leadership and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute maintenance campaigns across Midstream assets.
• Drive safe, efficient, and cost-effective campaign delivery in a dynamic environment.
• Lead development of campaign scopes, execution strategies, schedules, and resource plans.
• Steward campaign readiness processes, stage gates, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage resource conflicts and competing priorities.
• Monitor contractor performance against safety, quality, scope, schedule, and commercial targets.
• Track campaign KPIs and provide regular status reporting to stakeholders.
• Support asset reliability, integrity, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Santos Management System (SMS) and Integrated Activity Planning (IAP) processes.

What You’ll Do

Based in the Brisbane office, you'll plan, coordinate, and execute maintenance campaigns across our Midstream assets. Working closely with Operations, Maintenance, Planning, Engineering, and Contractor Partners, you'll drive safe, efficient, and cost-effective campaign delivery in a dynamic environment.

Key Accountabilities Include

• Lead the development of campaign scopes, execution strategies, schedules, and resource plans
• Steward campaign readiness processes, stage gates, and risk assessments
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage resource conflicts and competing priorities
• Monitor contractor performance against safety, quality, scope, schedule, and commercial targets
• Track campaign KPIs and provide regular status reporting to stakeholders
• Support asset reliability, integrity, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with Santos Management System (SMS) and Integrated Activity Planning (IAP) processes
• Maintain regular field engagement and participate in scope reviews, readiness assessments, and pre-start meetings

What You’ll Bring

• Trade and/or tertiary qualification in Engineering, Maintenance, Reliability, or related discipline
• Experience in maintenance, shutdowns, or campaign management within LNG, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or heavy process industries
• Proven ability to manage complex scopes, schedules, budgets, and contractor partnerships
• Proficiency with CMMS platforms (e.g. SAP PM, Maximo, Oracle eAM)
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to safety leadership and continuous improvement

Desirable

• SAP PM Super User capability
• Power BI or data analytics experience
• Project or Shutdown Management qualifications
• LNG production and Integrated Activity Planning (IAP) experience
• Knowledge of RCM, RBI, and Asset Management principles
