Job summary

Fulton Hogan Utilities in Western Australia is seeking an experienced Planner/Scheduler to join our team. You will develop build and maintenance programs, track progress, and report on project performance for delivery teams.

With 5+ years in power or water utilities scheduling, you’ll apply Primavera P6 and MS Project, plus advanced Excel, to optimise schedules and resource use while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Power Utilities maintenance scheduling.
  • Solid understanding of construction methodology and field productivity.
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Create build/maintenance programs with Project Leads and Finance reflecting contract conditions.
  • Monitor, maintain and update construction programs on the project.
  • Measure key outputs and resource requirements.
  • Provide advice to project leads on scheduling needs.
  • Create, review and submit weekly project reports to leads and management.

We wish to complement our existing team with an experienced Planner/Scheduler to join our Fulton Hogan Utilities business in Western Australia supporting our Delivery Team. In this role you’ll be responsible for
  • In conjunction with Project Leads and Finance, assist in the creation of build/maintenance programs that accurately reflect the conditions of contract
  • Monitoring, maintenance and updating the construction programs on the project
  • Measurement of key outputs and resource requirements
  • Providing advice where necessary to the project lead staff in their programming requirements
  • Creating, reviewing, and submitting weekly project reports to the project leads and management team.
How you’ll connect to the role
  • 5+ years’ experience in Power Utilities maintenance scheduling
  • Solid understanding of construction methodology, field productivity, and project controls
  • Some knowledge of Primavera 6, we can provide additional training
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential
  • Exposure to MS project an advantage
  • Technical/analytical with good communication skills, not afraid to advise
