Torus Group in the UK is seeking a Contract Manager for the Planned Projects team (HMS). The role leads delivery of planned maintenance, refurbishments and construction projects across housing stock and client portfolios, ensuring safety, time, budget and quality targets are met.

You will manage diverse teams and subcontractors, oversee contract performance, and drive improvements while fostering strong client relationships and opportunities for business growth.

Formación

• HNC/HND in Construction, NVQ Level 4 or working towards equivalent.
• CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme qualification (or working towards) and a valid CSCS card.
• Significant experience in construction, planned maintenance or refurbishment environments.
• Understanding of construction, building maintenance and contractual delivery requirements.
• Experience managing budgets and commercial delivery within construction or maintenance.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the delivery of planned maintenance, refurbishment and construction programmes.
• Manage and motivate operational teams, including site managers, direct labour and subcontractors.
• Oversee planning, scheduling and delivery of works to meet safety, time, budget and quality targets.
• Monitor contract performance and identify opportunities for service improvements and growth.
• Manage income, expenditure and contract budgets in line with financial regulations.
• Lead contract administration from inception to invoicing.
• Drive continuous improvement and adopt new technologies to enhance service delivery.
• Promote health and safety compliance across all projects.
• Develop strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Support business development and identify new opportunities.
• Prepare performance reports and briefings for senior leaders.

Educación

HNC/HND in Construction, NVQ Level 4 or equivalent

CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme

CSCS card or equivalent health and safety qualification

Experience managing multi-disciplinary operational teams

Budget and financial performance management
