Job summary

Jacaval Hospitality Services PTY LTD – Carlton VIC is seeking a dedicated Pizza Chef to join its Garfield’s venue in Melbourne. The design-driven space serves wood-fired pizza, snacks, cocktails and wine, with a focus on craft and quality ingredients.

You will work with the Head Chef to prepare and cook high-quality pizzas, assist with dough prep and toppings, and maintain food safety and station organisation in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Pizza Chef or similar role.
• Ability to stretch, top and cook dough.
• Commitment to high quality and safety standards.

Garfield’s is Carlton’s newest neighbourhood pizzeria, the first of three new venues in the King & Godfree building. A design-driven space serving wood-fired pizza, snacks, cocktails and wine celebrating simplicity, seasonality and quality ingredients. Fast, modern and proudly Italian in its own way — grounded in craft, shaped by culture and driven by people who care about doing things properly.

We’re building a tight, professional kitchen team to work alongside our Head Pizzaiolo — people who take pride in detail, love learning and want to be part of something that will make a mark on Melbourne’s pizza scene. Both full time & casual positions available.
