Job summary

Prost is seeking an experienced Pipelayer or Hands on Foreman to join our civil construction team. The role focuses on laying water and sewer mains on Bendigo projects with ongoing work across Melbourne and regional Victoria.

You will be experienced with MRWA requirements, able to read plans, and operate across sites including manholes, hydrants and live services. White Card and excavator/loader tickets are valued, with ongoing work for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Solid MRWA water and sewer experience.
• White Card holder and civil tickets are highly regarded.
• Ability to read plans, grades, levels, and construction drawings.
• Experience with pipe bedding, jointing, fittings, connections and backfill.
• Experience around manholes, maintenance structures, valves, hydrants and live services.
• Willing to work across Bendigo, Melbourne and other Victorian infrastructure projects.
• Bendigo work can be completed on LAFHA arrangements for Melbourne-based workers, subject to eligibility.
• Ongoing work for the right person, not a short-term Bendigo role.

Job description

We're looking for an experienced Pipelayer or Hands on Foreman to join our civil construction team, initially working on projects in Bendigo, with ongoing infrastructure work across Melbourne and regional Victoria.

This role is suited to someone who has genuine experience delivering water and sewer infrastructure and understands the standards expected on authority and major civil projects.

What we're looking for:

Strong experience laying water mains and sewer mains

Sound knowledge of MRWA requirements and specifications

Ability to read plans, grades, levels and construction drawings

Experience with pipe bedding, jointing, fittings, connections and backfill

Experience around manholes, maintenance structures, valves, hydrants and live services

Able to work independently and maintain a high standard of workmanship

Willing to work across Bendigo, Melbourne and other Victorian infrastructure projects

White Card required

Excavator, loader and other civil tickets highly regarded

Bendigo work can be completed on LAFHA arrangements for Melbourne-based workers, subject to eligibility and project requirements.

This is ongoing work for the right person, not just a short-term Bendigo role.

We're looking for someone who knows pipework, understands civil infrastructure and can get in and do the job properly without needing to be constantly supervised.
