Job summary

Rokon Pty Ltd in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Stormwater Pipelayer to join our civil team on projects across the city. You will lay concrete stormwater pipes up to 2100mm, interpret plans and specifications, and work alongside plant operators on busy sites.

To be considered, you need at least 2 years’ civil pipelaying experience, a White Card, a current driver’s license and plant tickets, and a willingness to move across sites. A pre-employment medical assessment is required.

About The Opportunity

Reporting to the Area Manager, your key duties include, but are not limited to:

• Laying concrete stormwater pipes, up to 2100 in size.
• Interpreting plans and specifications.
• Working with underground services.
• Installing stormwater systems.
• Working alongside plant operators.
• Performing manual handling tasks.
• Operating GPS equipment - Topcon, Leica and Trimble systems.
• Experience in subdivisions, road construction, and drainage.

About you

To Be Considered, You Need To Demonstrate The Following

• At least 2 years' experience in as a civil pipelayer, subdivision experience is preferred.
• OH&S Induction Card (White Card)
• Good communication skills & a great work ethic.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Current driver’s licence and plant tickets.
• Safety focused attitude.
• Flexible to work move across sites as needed by the business.
• Experience laying concrete pipes is required.
• Full Australian Working Rights.

Successful candidates will need to complete a pre-employment medical assessment.
