Job summary

MFE, part of Global Group, is seeking a Pipe Welder to join our Toowoomba fabrication team on a full-time or casual basis. You will interpret drawings and perform welding to tight piping/structural standards.

You’ll work within a safety-conscious, LEAN environment, complete permits and reporting, and collaborate with a skilled team on varied projects across Queensland.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Boilermaking is required.
• Experience welding to piping and structural standards.
• Strong knowledge of GTAW, FCAW, SMAW and GMAW welding techniques.
• Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision.
• Experience in quality assurance and testing environments.
• Strong safety mindset with experience in permits, JSEAs and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications.
• Perform fabrication and welding activities to required standards.
• Ensure all work complies with quality, safety and compliance requirements.
• Follow LEAN and 5S principles to maintain an efficient workspace.

About the role

Due to continued growth, we’re seeking a qualifiedPipe Welderto join our fabrication team in Toowoomba on a full-time or casual basis on a 5/2 roster.
