Job summary

NGARE EMPLOYMENT SOLUTIONS PTY LTD is recruiting a self-motivated Pilot for Davenport Downs in the heart of the Channel Country, south-west Queensland. You will operate a Cessna 182, conduct aerial surveys or transport passengers between Paraway properties, and support station tasks during downtime.

Applicants should have about 500 flying hours per year, relevant endorsements for the aircraft, an ASIC, and be willing to take on general maintenance or gardening duties.

Qualifications

• 500 hours flying per year (approx).
• Endorsements and/or certification for Cessna 182 aircraft.
• Current aviation security identification card (ASIC).
• Obligations imposed by insurer of company aircraft and other duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Fly the Cessna 182 between Paraway properties.
• Undertake aerial surveying or passenger transport as needed.
• Assist with station duties such as general maintenance and gardening.

An exciting opportunity has become available for a self‑motivated and experienced Pilot at Davenport Downs. Located in the heart of the Channel Country of south‑west Queensland, Davenport Downs and its outstation Springvale, together form a 3.7 million acre aggregation capable of carrying up to 25,000 head of cattle.

We are looking for an experienced pilot to fly our Cessna 182 plane with the ability to undertake aerial surveying or properties and flying of passengers between Paraway properties.

What we expect from you:

• 500 hours of flying per year (approx.)
• Appropriate endorsements and/or type of certification for aircraft to be flown (Cessna 182)
• Current aviation security identification card (ASIC)
• Any other obligations imposed by the insurer of company aircraft
• Ability to take on other duties as required as they relate to the Station - for example general maintenance and gardening
