Job summary

Paraway Properties is seeking an experienced pilot for Davenport Downs, in south-west Queensland. The role involves flying a Cessna 182 for aerial surveying and transporting passengers between Davenport Downs and Springvale, with duties that may include general station maintenance and gardening.

The ideal candidate holds current endorsements for the aircraft, an ASIC, and can meet insurer obligations. On-farm accommodation and meals are provided, with a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• 500 hours of flying per year (approx).
• Endorsements and/or type certification for Cessna 182.
• Current aviation security identification card (ASIC).
• Insurance requirements may impose additional obligations for company aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Pilot a Cessna 182 for aerial surveying or transport between Paraway properties and stations.
• Fly passengers between Davenport Downs and Springvale as needed.
• Assist with station duties such as general maintenance and gardening when required.

An exciting opportunity has become available for a self-motivated and experienced Pilot at Davenport Downs. Located in the heart of the Channel Country of south-west Queensland, Davenport Downs and its outstation Springvale, together form a 3.7 million acre aggregation capable of carrying up to 25,000 head of cattle.

We are looking for an experienced pilot to fly our Cessna 182 plane with the ability to undertake aerial surveying or properties and flying of passengers between Paraway properties.

What we expect from you:

• 500 hours of flying per year (approx.)
• Appropriate endorsements and/or type of certification for aircraft to be flown (Cessna 182)
• Current aviation security identification card (ASIC)
• Any other obligations imposed by the insurer of company aircraft
• Ability to take on other duties as required as they relate to the Station - for example general maintenance and gardening
