Job summary

Ngarda-Ngarli Marlpa is seeking a Training and Capability Coordinator to lead Ranger and Coordinator career development across the Pilbara. The role includes coordinating training partnerships, events, and programs, and supporting professional growth across ranger teams.

Based in Karratha with regular regional travel. You will build relationships with training providers and funders, ensure training is delivered on country where possible, and establish systems in the first year while developing

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in training coordination or capability development.
• Experience working with Indigenous communities or ranger teams.
• Sound organisational and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the Pilbara.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate network-wide training with ranger teams and providers.
• Manage training logistics: venues, travel, accommodation, equipment and safety.
• Develop and maintain ranger coordinator career development resources.
• Build and maintain relationships with training providers and partners.
• Maintain training records and support reporting and learning processes.
