The Loft Pilates Rosebery in Sydney is seeking an exceptional Studio Manager—a hands-on leader and experienced Pilates instructor. You will mentor staff, manage rosters, and ensure an outstanding studio experience for clients.

Qualifications

• An experienced Pilates instructor with at least 3 years teaching.
• Must hold mat and reformer Pilates certifications.
• Strong leadership and client-service mindset.
• Comfort with booking systems and technology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Staff management including hiring, onboarding and training of front desk staff and instructors.
• Manage rosters and payroll accuracy.
• Ensure class schedules meet client needs and staff availability.
• Provide ongoing training and feedback to instructors after classes.
• Maintain studio cleanliness and equipment upkeep.
• Collaborate with management to improve operations.

About You

Anexperienced Pilates instructor (minimum 3 years teaching experience)

Must hold both mat and reformer Pilates certifications

Passionate about helping clients move better and feel their best

Naturally approachable, supportive, and motivating

A confident problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment

Open-minded, eager to learn, and committed to continuous improvement

Tech-savvy with strong computer skills

Experience with booking systems is helpful, but not essential

Key Responsibilities

Staff Management

Hiring, onboarding, and training front desk staff and instructors

Managing rosters and ensuring payroll accuracy

Ensuring team satisfaction with class schedules and front desk shifts

Covering last‑minute schedule changes or assisting with finding covers

Providing continuous training and constructive feedback to instructors after attending classes

Ensuring front desk and reception staff consistently deliver positive, professional communication with clients

Overseeing the daily upkeep of mat and reformer studios

Ensuring studio cleanliness at all times and directing staff where attention is needed

Leading by example to drive strong performance and continuous improvement

Overseeing cleaning and maintenance of the ice bath and sauna

Brainstorming and implementing ways to improve systems, processes, and efficiency

Collaborating closely with the management team to solve challenges and improve operations

Client Experience
