Job summary

Agri Talent Pty is seeking an experienced Pig Production Manager to lead two breeder piggery sites near Kingaroy, Queensland. You will oversee a team of 12, manage breeding, insemination, farrowing, weaning, feeding and animal health, and drive welfare, biosecurity and compliance across both sites.

Qualifications

• Breeder-piggery knowledge across mating, farrowing and weaning.
• Hands-on supervision with staff development.

About the role

Lead day-to-day performance across two breeder piggery sites near Kingaroy, each operating approximately 850 sows. Leading and developing an established team of 12, this role will oversee production, welfare, biosecurity, compliance, data, maintenance and improvement. Reporting to the CEO, responsibilities include: Leading breeding, insemination, farrowing, weaning, feeding and animal health activities. Monitoring data across pregnancies, live births, pigs weaned, return rates and forecasts. Maintaining welfare, biosecurity, environment, safety and audit standards. Improving data accuracy through PigFlow and MetaFarms systems. Coordinating advisors, contractors, maintenance, and other internal support teams. Working with senior management to prioritise and implement strategic objectives across each site.
