Sacred Heart Girls' College in Melbourne seeks a passionate Piano Teacher to start in Term 1 2027. You will guide Year 7–12 students in piano performance, theory, and sight-singing, and provide accompaniment for the school production and choirs as needed.

The role involves delivering lessons, supporting VCE students, and implementing the AMEB syllabus. Strong organisational skills and collaboration with the Music Performance Leader are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching piano to high school students.
• Ability to integrate AMEB syllabus and music theory.
• Experience accompanying school performances.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-quality individual piano lessons regularly scheduled as per the timetable.
• Provide piano accompaniment for the choir, school production and other activities.
• Implement a sequential piano program including VCE support where required.
• Collaborate with the Music Performance Leader to develop student repertoire.
• Coordinate scheduling with the school timetable and activities.
