Job summary

Sacred Heart Girls' College in Melbourne is seeking a passionate piano teacher to start in Term 1 2027. You will work with Year 7–12 students to develop piano skills for college and external events, incorporating music theory and sight-singing, and provide piano accompaniment for the school production and other activities as required.

The successful applicant will work with the Music Performance Leader to expand the repertoire and maintain a sequential program that supports varying performance

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high-quality individual piano lessons.
• Familiarity with AMEB syllabi and external exams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality individual piano lessons to Years 7–12, scheduled per the rotating timetable.
• Provide piano accompaniment for the choir, school production and other activities as required.
• Implement the AMEB syllabus in preparation for external exams.
• Support a comprehensive, sequential program for individual students, including VCE students.
