Job summary

The University of Notre Dame Australia invites applications for a Lecturer (Physiotherapy) in the School of Health Sciences at the Sydney (Broadway) Campus. This full-time continuing role focuses on teaching into the Master of Physiotherapy program with opportunity to contribute to other areas of Health Sciences.

Expertise in cardiorespiratory, paediatric and/or neurological physiotherapy is sought. A 1 FTE is available; fractional appointments may be considered for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• PhD or progress toward doctoral qualification in Physiotherapy.
• Full registration with the Physiotherapists Registration Board under AHPRA.
• Experience delivering educational materials across levels (entry to postgraduate).
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication; ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Desirable: curriculum development and research involvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of physiotherapy curriculum in cardiorespiratory, paediatric and/or neurological physiotherapy.
• Course coordination including planning, scheduling, delivery of teaching activities and assessments.
• Prepare, update, and maintain course materials aligned with clinical practice and academic standards.
• Assess student learning through marking, feedback and progress support.
• Participate in research, quality improvement and stakeholder engagement.
• Undertake administrative duties and comply with university policies.
• Provide pastoral care and student wellbeing support.
