Job summary

The University of Notre Dame Australia invites applications for a Lecturer (Physiotherapy) within the School of Health Sciences at the Sydney (Broadway) Campus. The role focuses on delivering the Master of Physiotherapy curriculum with emphasis on cardiorespiratory, paediatric and/or neurological physiotherapy.

We seek an experienced clinician-academic with a doctoral qualification or equivalent, registered with AHPRA, who can contribute to teaching across foundational Health Sciences areas,

Qualifications

• Doctoral qualification or equivalent clinical/academic experience.
• Current full registration as a physiotherapist with AHPRA.
• Experience delivering educational materials in various formats (entry-level to postgraduate).
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication; ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to continuous quality improvement and university objectives.
• Desirable: contribute to curriculum development, pedagogical innovation and research initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of physiotherapy curriculum in cardiorespiratory, paediatric and/or neurological physiotherapy.
• Course coordination of allocated courses, including planning, scheduling, delivery of teaching activities and assessments.
• Prepare, update, and maintain course materials to align with current clinical practice and academic standards.
• Assess student learning through marking, feedback and progression support.
• Participate in research, quality improvement and engagement activities with internal and external stakeholders.
• Undertake administrative duties and comply with university policies.
• Provide pastoral care and consultation to support student wellbeing.
