Job summary

University of Queensland in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join the Clinical Education team as a Clinical Education Liaison Manager. Based at the St Lucia campus, the role leads coordination and improvement of clinical practice experiences for physiotherapy students and builds partnerships across health and education sectors.

The position requires a Physiotherapy degree with at least five years of clinical experience, strong educational and stakeholder management skills,

Qualifications

• A degree in Physiotherapy with a minimum of five years relevant clinical experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the clinical education of students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including negotiation and conflict management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities to manage priorities.
• Knowledge of IT and HR systems to support clinical placements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver and evaluate education strategies and resources for practice educators.
• Manage practice placement allocations and related processes to ensure balanced experiences.
• Build collaborative relationships with public, private, education, industry and NGO stakeholders.
• Monitor clinical education activities, lead placement administration and reporting, and ensure compliance.
