Job summary

Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to lead and deliver clinically excellent, family-centred paediatric services for children 0-8 years with developmental differences. You will work across hospital and community settings, mentoring teams and driving quality improvement while partnering with families to support growth and development.

The role requires AHPRA registration and a Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy, with a strong focus on child

About us

We're a passionate Paediatric Allied Health Team supporting children and families across Central Queensland - in hospital, in the community and wherever support is needed.

Our Child Development Service (CDS) works with children aged 0-8 years who have developmental differences or complex developmental delays. We work alongside families to understand each child's unique strengths, needs and journey.

Together, we make sense of development, build confidence, connect families with the right supports and help children take their next steps towards growing, learning, connecting and thriving!

About the role

• Lead and inspire. Lead complex clinical services, support your team and build a safe, inclusive and high-performing workplace.
• Deliver great care. Use your clinical expertise to provide evidence-based, family-centred care across paediatrics, developmental services and disability.
• Grow and support others. Provide supervision, mentoring and education while building clinical confidence, skills and leadership.
• Connect and innovate. Work collaboratively, champion quality improvement and research, and help create better outcomes for children and families.

About you

• You're a qualified Physiotherapist with a Bachelor degree from a recognised institution and current AHPRA registration.
• Strong contemporary clinical knowledge, sound judgement and problem-solving skills, with experience in child health, developmental disorders and disability.
• Can lead and connect multidisciplinary teams across hospital and community settings, build partnerships and support others through coaching and clinical advice.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, educators and stakeholders, champion culturally safe care, and use evidence and quality improvement to make services better.

What we offer

Total remuneration value of up to $157,359 p.a. is comprised of:

• An hourly rate between $64.64 - $69.55 p.h.
• 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
• 17.5% leave loading
