Job description

The Physio Bunker is a dedicated provider of high-quality physiotherapy services, in both private practice and community settings. Based in Sunshine Coast, QLD, we prioritise patient-centered care with a focus on achieving optimal health outcomes. We have two arms of our business: the mobile part of the business involves treating people in their home or retirement village; the private practice involves typical sports and MSK caseloads, based out of an enormous commercial gym which you have access to use for clients and personally!

Role Description

This is a part-time role for a Physiotherapist, located in the Sunshine Coast, QLD, with the flexibility to choose your own hours! The role involves a mix of community work (mostly SAH clients) and private practice involving a vast range of MSK injuries/conditions. It would be expected to split your time between the two, likely starting with a heavier load to community. This will be flexible over time as your caseload grows. Ability for Full Time hrs after probation is highly probable for the right fit!

You would be conducting patient assessments, developing and implementing tailored treatment plans, and providing gym-based and hands-on therapy to improve patient outcomes and function. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate patient records, working alongside a multidisciplinary team, and providing education and support to clients regarding injury prevention and recovery management.

Qualifications & Criteria

Registration with AHPRA as a qualified Physiotherapist

Strong manual therapy, exercise prescription, and rehabilitation skills or willingness to develop these skills

Effective communication and patient-education abilities

Proficiency in maintaining detailed patient records and documentation

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team

Commitment to continuous professional development and learning

Drivers licence and own vehicle
