Job summary

Mediix is hiring a Physiotherapist to work across two clinics in Schofields and Baulkham Hills, NSW. The role offers a full-time position with exposure to diverse patient groups and referral pathways, supported by experienced clinicians.

You’ll assess and treat musculoskeletal conditions, develop individualised rehabilitation plans, and help patients return to sport and daily activities while building clinical reasoning and skills.

Qualifications

• AHPRA registered or eligible for registration.
• Qualified with a Bachelor or Master's degree in Physiotherapy.
• Interest in MSK, sports rehabilitation and active rehabilitation.

Are you a Physiotherapist who enjoys working with people, has a genuine interest in movement and sport, and wants to continue developing your clinical skills?

This full-time opportunity offers the chance to work across two clinic environments, providing exposure to different patient groups, referral pathways and clinical presentations, with strong support from experienced clinicians.

About The Role

This is a full-time Physiotherapist position working across two locations, with the majority of your hours based at the larger clinic.

The caseload is predominantly adult, with approximately 10% paediatric clients, most of whom are sporting teenagers.

You’ll Work Across a Varied Mix Of

• WorkCover
• Medicare
• Private patients
• A smaller NDIS component
• Musculoskeletal presentations
• Sports injuries
• Post-operative rehabilitation
• Chronic conditions
• Return-to-work and return-to-function rehabilitation

At one clinic, the caseload is approximately 50% WorkCover, 25% Medicare and 25% Private, with minimal NDIS.

At the other, the caseload is approximately 20% WorkCover, 30% Medicare and 50% Private, with a few NDIS clients.

The role is designed to give you exposure to both environments: one with a strong referral base and established caseload, and another with a more sports and fitness-focused setting where building relationships and networking are an important part of the role.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assessing and treating a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions
• Developing individualised treatment and rehabilitation plans
• Providing hands-on treatment and exercise-based rehabilitation
• Supporting patients through injury recovery and return to work, sport and everyday activities
• Applying strong clinical reasoning to assessment and treatment
• Working alongside Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists and other allied health professionals
• Building positive relationships with patients and referral partners
• Continuing to develop your clinical skills through structured support and in-house training
