Job summary

Therapia Sports & Spine is seeking a capable musculoskeletal physiotherapist to join our Adelaide CBD team. This role offers a long-term path to grow in clinical responsibility, mentoring, or leadership, with a focus on meaningful MSK work and high professional standards.

The successful candidate will manage a varied MSK caseload, progressing patients through structured rehabilitation and coordinating with GPs and specialists. Australian registration and ongoing working rights are required.

Qualifications

• Australian physiotherapy experience, ideally in MSK private practice.
• Hold full AHPRA registration.
• Able to assess and manage common MSK presentations independently.
• Enjoy spinal, rehabilitation and active-care physiotherapy.
• Build trust easily and communicate clearly with patients.
• Open to feedback, clinical discussion and continually improving your reasoning.
• Reliable, calm, professional and genuinely good to work with.
• Want a stable team and a place to build your career over time.
• You must be currently based in Australia and have unrestricted or valid ongoing Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied musculoskeletal caseload and guide patients through structured, active rehabilitation—from early symptom management to strength, confidence and return to function.
• Work includes musculoskeletal and spinal conditions, including more persistent and complex presentations; sports and workplace injuries; pre- and post-surgical rehabilitation.
• Deliver progressive strengthening and return-to-function programs.
• Clinical Pilates-based rehabilitation where appropriate; ensure clear communication with patients, GPs, specialists and other referrers.

The role

You will manage a varied musculoskeletal caseload and help patients progress through structured, active rehabilitation - from early symptom management through to strength, confidence and return to function.

Your work will include:

• Musculoskeletal and spinal conditions, including more persistent and complex presentations
• Sports and workplace injuries
• Pre- and post-surgical rehabilitation
• Progressive strengthening and return-to-function programs
• Clinical Pilates-based rehabilitation where appropriate
• Clear communication with patients, GPs, specialists and other referrers
