Job summary

Mediix is seeking a Physiotherapist to join a multidisciplinary allied health practice. The role splits time between two clinics, treating spinal pain, shoulder and knee conditions, sports injuries, post‑operative rehab and older adults.

Exercise rehabilitation and clinical Pilates sit at the heart of the team, with colleagues including exercise physiologists and a psychologist nearby for coordinated care. The role is clinic‑based with some home visits.

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist is required.
• Strong interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and exercise rehabilitation.
• Good communication skills and ability to reason clinically.
• Willingness to learn and take feedback.
• Open to new graduates or experienced physios; private practice experience helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat spinal pain, shoulder and knee conditions, and sports injuries.
• Guide clients through post-operative rehabilitation.
• Work with older adults on strength, balance and confidence.
• Run clinical Pilates and exercise-based rehab programs.
• Build clear, goal-based home programs to continue progress between sessions.
• Some home visits; frequency to be discussed.
• Collaborate with allied health colleagues for coordinated care.

The role

Some physio roles keep you in one room with one kind of caseload. This one gives you range. You would join a multidisciplinary allied health practice and split your time between two clinics, treating a mix of spinal pain, shoulder and knee conditions, sports injuries, post-operative rehab and older adults. Exercise rehabilitation and clinical Pilates sit at the centre of how the team works, and your colleagues include exercise physiologists, a psychologist and other allied health professionals just down the hall.

The role is mostly clinic-based, with some home visits depending on what suits you.

Where you would work

• Crows Nest: cafes for lunch, easy transport and a busy village feel
• Brookvale: close to the northern beaches, with a well-established health and wellness scene and a great spot for a swim or walk before or after work

What Your Week Could Include

• Assessing and treating spinal pain, shoulder and knee conditions and sports injuries
• Guiding clients through post-operative rehabilitation
• Working with older adults on strength, balance and confidence
• Running clinical Pilates and exercise-based rehab programs
• Building clear, goal-based plans and home programs so progress continues between sessions
• Some home visits, with the amount to be discussed
• Working alongside colleagues across allied health for coordinated care

What We Are Looking For

• Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist
• Strong interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and exercise rehabilitation
• Good communication skills and clinical reasoning potential
• A genuine willingness to learn and take on feedback
• Open to new graduates and experienced physios alike, and previous private practice experience is helpful but not essential
• A practical and reliable way of travelling between the two clinics
