Job summary

Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is seeking an experienced physiotherapist to join our Acute Physiotherapy team in Wangaratta, Victoria.

The successful candidate will work across medical, emergency, short stay, orthopaedic and maternity units, providing evidence-based care, and will supervise rotating Grade 1 Physiotherapists and Allied Health Assistants while contributing to service quality improvements and professional development.

Qualifications

• Experienced physiotherapist in a hospital setting.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Demonstrated flexibility of work approach.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the acute physiotherapy team across medical, ED, short stay, surgical and maternity wards.
• Support rotating Grade 1 Physiotherapists and Allied Health Assistants.

Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute, sub-acute, aged care and community services.

NHW are seeking applications from experienced physiotherapists to provide high-quality, best practice care within our Acute Physiotherapy team.

The successful applicant will be committed to working collaboratively across the general medical, emergency department and short stay unit, general and orthopaedic surgical ward, and maternity unit.

They will possess strong skills in evidence-based practice and teamwork, and have demonstrated flexibility of work approach.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to further develop their clinical leadership and supervision skills as they support rotating Grade 1 Physiotherapists and Allied Health Assistants and contribute to service portfolios.They will receive high quality supervision and support for ongoing professional development as well as opportunities to participate in quality improvement activities.
