Job summary

Latrobe Regional Health in Gippsland seeks a Grade 1 Physiotherapist to provide high-quality, evidence-based care across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. You will rotate through surgical, ICU/ED, maternity, rehabilitation, and geriatrics, supporting education and continuous learning.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Physiotherapist with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) or equivalent and current AHPRA registration.
  • Strong foundation in physiotherapy assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based clinical practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Well-developed organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage a clinical caseload effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in rotational and weekend physiotherapy services, providing flexible support across a variety of inpatient and clinical settings.

Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Grade 1 Physiotherapist to join our growing team on a On Going Full Time Basis.

We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Grade 1 Physiotherapist to join our Allied Health team. In this role, you will provide high-quality physiotherapy services across a range of clinical areas, working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to support patients in achieving optimal health, mobility, and functional outcomes. This position offers excellent opportunities for professional growth through rotational placements, weekend services, and ongoing learning within a supportive healthcare environment.

The Physiotherapy Department at LRH provides services across a broad range of inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.

Our Grade 1 Physiotherapists participate in four-month rotations, gaining valuable experience in:
  • Orthopaedic and General Surgery
  • ICU, ED and Short Stay Units
  • Maternity
  • Rehabilitation
  • Geriatric Evaluation and Management
  • Outpatients and Community Rehabilitation (including women's health, paediatrics, and hydrotherapy)
