Job summary

Cabrini Health in Melbourne is seeking an Allied Health Clinical Educator (Physiotherapist) to lead our student education program. The role is part-time (30 hours/week), fixed term for 12 months, commencing February 2027, primarily based at Cabrini Malvern with visits to Monash University Frankston.

The educator will coordinate placements, support clinical supervisors, foster university partnerships and promote a culture of learning across Allied Health services.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent).
• Experience in clinical education and student supervision.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and effective feedback.
• Clinical experience in hospital-based physiotherapy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Allied Health and Allied Health Assistant student placements across Cabrini.
• Support and develop clinical supervisors through education, mentoring and resources.
• Foster strong partnerships with universities and education providers.
• Teach undergraduate physiotherapy students at Monash University Frankston.
• Lead student orientation, placement and evaluation processes.
• Contribute to staff education, professional development and inter-professional learning initiatives.
• Develop educational resources and support innovative learning opportunities.
• Coordinate Safe Moves training and other education programs.
