Cobdenhealth in Cobden, Victoria is seeking a passionate Physiotherapist for Residential Aged Care and Support at Home. Part-time with flexible hours and a negotiable $55.00 per hour, plus salary packaging and 5 weeks annual leave per year.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy.
• Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist.
• Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Current Victorian Driver Licence.
• Commitment to person-centred and evidence-based care.

Responsibilities

• Provide physiotherapy assessment, treatment and rehabilitation services to older people in residential aged care and their own homes.
• Develop individualised exercise, strength, balance and falls prevention programs.
• Assess mobility, gait, transfers and functional capacity.
• Recommend and review mobility aids and equipment.
• Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, Care Partners, community care staff and other allied health professionals.
• Support reablement, restorative care and ageing-in-place initiatives.
• Contribute to the development and growth of our physiotherapy service.
