Job summary

Intrinsic Health Group is hiring a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist for our Residential Aged Care site in Rockhampton. You’ll support older adults to stay safe, active and independent, with a team of experienced clinicians who share knowledge.

We welcome both experienced clinicians and new graduates. Roles offer flexibility: full-time, part-time or casual; with no on-call or shift work and opportunities to build a private caseload over time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy.
• Current AHPRA General Registration.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Police Check (within last 3 months) or willingness to obtain.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Medicare Provider Number (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Support chronic disease and injury management.
• Complete functional, manual handling and initial assessments.
• Work on falls prevention and risk management.
• Prescribe equipment.
• Deliver exercise and re-enablement programs.
• Attend clinical meetings and case conferences.
• Support clinical staff training.
• Collaborate with other allied health professionals in residential aged care.

Intrinsic Health is looking for a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to join our Residential Aged Care team in Rockhampton.

Whether you're an experienced clinician or a new graduate finding your feet, you'll work alongside people who know their stuff and are happy to share it.

You'll support older adults to stay safe, active, independent and involved in the things that matter to them.

What your day might look like

Depending on your discipline and caseload, you may be:

• Supporting chronic disease and injury management
• Completing functional, manual handling and initial assessments
• Working on falls prevention and risk management
• Prescribing equipment
• Delivering exercise and re-enablement programs
• Attending clinical meetings and case conferences
• Supporting clinical staff training
• Working alongside other allied health professionals in residential aged care

There's also scope to build a private caseload and community referrals over time.
