Job summary

Health First Group is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our regional private-practice team. You will assess, treat and prevent movement-impairing conditions, guiding clients back to better health in a supportive community setting.

Role offers a permanent, full-time/part-time/flexible arrangement with a salary range of $80,000–$110,000 plus performance bonuses. You will work with diverse clients including Private, DVA, Workcover and EPC cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Occupational Therapy
• AHPRA registration required
• At least 2 years’ experience as a registered Occupational Therapist with 1-year experience in private practice
• Understanding of the rights of people with a disability
• Current Valid Driver’s License
• Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one before commencement

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat and prevent physical difficulties resulting from injury, illness, disability or ageing to improve movement and general wellbeing
• Independently manage a varied caseload of MSK clients including Private Patients, DVA, Workcover & EPC Clients
• Deliver high-quality patient care aligned with Health First Group values
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support return-to-work and rehabilitation goals
• Report to Director and participate in ongoing professional development

Commencing immediately. Salary range: $80,000 - $110,000 + performance driven bonuses.
