Goodwin is seeking a Physiotherapist to deliver high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy across our residential aged care facilities, Wellness Centres, Day Clubs and clients’ homes. You will undertake assessments, develop plans and promote healthy ageing with a person-centred approach.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA.
• Experience in aged care and/or healthcare settings.

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Physiotherapist to join our team and deliver high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy services across our residential aged care facilities, Wellness Centres, Day Clubs and clients’ homes.

About the role

As a Physiotherapist at Goodwin, you’ll undertake comprehensive assessments, develop individualised therapy plans and deliver evidence-based interventions that promote reablement, restorative outcomes and healthy ageing.

You’ll work closely with clients, families and the broader Goodwin team to provide person-centred care and help older people maximise their independence and quality of life.

Your work will include:

• Conducting comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and developing individualised therapy plans.
• Delivering evidence-based physiotherapy, reablement and restorative interventions.
• Providing services across Wellness Centres, residential facilities, clients’ homes and Day Clubs.
• Supporting falls prevention, functional capacity, mobility and healthy ageing.
• Regularly reviewing therapy plans and measuring outcomes to ensure goals are being achieved.
• Providing education and advice to clients, families, advocates and colleagues.
• Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic, customer-focused care.
• Supporting clients to access appropriate funding and services that enhance their independence.
• Contributing to continuous improvement and innovative approaches to physiotherapy services.

About you

You’re a skilled Physiotherapist who is passionate about working with older people and delivering care that is practical, meaningful and focused on achieving positive outcomes.

You’ll bring:

• Current registration as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA.
• Experience in aged care and/or healthcare.
• Demonstrated experience in assessment and evidence-based physiotherapy, reablement and restorative interventions.
• Strong communication, organisation, negotiation and facilitation skills.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and client management systems.
• A willingness to register with Medicare Australia, DVA and HiCAPS.
• A commitment to professional development and contemporary physiotherapy practice.
