The University of Wollongong (UOW) invites applications for a Technical Officer at the Liverpool Campus to provide hands-on laboratory support for Human Physiology teaching, including practical class delivery, equipment readiness and resource development.

You will maintain and calibrate equipment, support anatomy teaching resources, manage inventories, and ensure safe, WHS‑compliant lab operations while coordinating with staff and students across the School of Medical, Indigenous & Health

Qualifications

• Qualifications or equivalent experience in Health/Medical Science, Exercise Science or related field.
• Experience supporting laboratory operations, including use, maintenance and calibration of physiology teaching equipment.
• Knowledge of human physiology and anatomy and related laboratory practices.
• Strong understanding of laboratory safety, WHS requirements and safe work practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Responsabilités

• Support the delivery of Human Physiology practical laboratory teaching.
• Prepare, maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and teaching resources.
• Support anatomy teaching resources and laboratory operations.
• Manage laboratory inventories, procurement, maintenance and repairs.
• Promote safe, compliant and efficient laboratory environments.
