Job summary

Amazon Web Services Australia seeks an AWS Physical Security Operations Centre (PSOC) Lead to direct physical security operations protecting AWS infrastructure and assets. You will lead incident response, coordinate guard forces, and administer access control systems while guiding a team to uphold service levels and security policies.

You bring a track record in customer service, security and risk management, plus strong communication and judgment to manage shifting priorities and drive

Qualifications

• 5+ years in managing medium sized, geographically dispersed, operational teams.
• Demonstrable experience in developing operational documentation as well as metrics and report generation.
• 5+ years in high-volume, high-intensity environments such as a security operations center or crisis management.
• Experience with physical security control and surveillance systems.
• Experience in administrative tasks such as data entry and data-driven reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead PSOC operations to protect AWS infrastructure and assets.
• Coordinate contracted guard forces, monitor access control systems, and manage incident response.
• Develop and maintain operational documentation, metrics and reports.
• Manage internal and external communications, triage trouble tickets, and provide technical support.
• Drive continuous improvement and raise security standards across programs.
