Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Project Security Officer to safeguard data centre facilities in Australia. You will set security strategy, manage budgets, and lead security projects across personnel, physical, operational, and technical domains.

You will coordinate with operations, engineering, HR, logistics, and construction to integrate security into infrastructure and daily work, ensuring compliance with government requirements and AWS policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in physical security best practices and incident management.
• Ability to manage and trouble-shoot security-related systems and processes.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement security strategies for data centre sites.
• Draft and review security documents, transportation plans and CONOPs.
• Direct on-site security operations and guard management to protect assets.
• Own security P&L and drive cost-effective security improvements.
